Foundation Surgical Hospital Purchases Renaissance Spine System

Foundation Surgical Hospital of San Antonio, Texas, has purchased the Renaissance system, a robotic surgical device from manufacturer Mazor Robotics, according to Herald Online.

The purchase will bring minimally invasive, robotic spine surgery to FSH and the three other hospitals affiliated with Foundation Surgical Hospital Affiliates management company.

FSH has become with fifth provider in Texas to install a Renaissance system in 2012.
