Erlanger Health adds Drs. Prayash Patel & Megan Stevens: 5 things to know

Chattanooga, Tenn.-based Erlanger Health System welcomed two physicians to its team, according to chattanoogan.com.

Here are five things to know:

 

1. Neurological surgeon Prayash Patel, MD, will be joining the team.

 

2. He completed his fellowship at Southmead Hospital, North Bristol Trust, NHS, in the U.K. The fellowship focused on complex spine conditions and minimally invasive surgery for degenerative spine disorders.

 

3. Megan Stevens, MD, will also join Erlanger Health, as a neurologist.

 

4. She completed her vascular neurology fellowship at Nashville, Tenn.-based Vanderbilt University.

 

5. Dr. Stevens specializes in post-stroke care, stroke prevention and stroke in younger people.
