Elekta appoints Dr. Richard Hausmann president and CEO — 4 notes

Elekta, a Stockholm, Sweden-based neurosurgery and oncology solutions company, named Richard Hausmann, PhD, its new president and CEO, effective June 10.

Here are four notes:

 

1. Dr. Hausmann will replace Tomas Puusepp.

 

2. He will join the company on May 1.

 

3. He has three decades of experience in the medical device industry, serving in various president and CEO positions at other companies.

 

4. Dr. Hausmann received his doctorate in physics from the University of Regensburg in Germany.
