Eastern Long Island Hospital to Begin New Neurosurgery Program

Eastern Long Island Hospital in Greenport, N.Y., will soon implement a new neurosurgery program, according to a NorthFork Patch report.

Raphael Davis, MD, and Robert Galler, DO, of Stony Brook (N.Y.) Medicine University Physicians will provide care at Eastern Long Island Hospital and treat a wide-array of spinal conditions, such as herniated discs, spinal stenosis and tumors of the spine. The hospital has also been implementing new equipment, such as a state-of-the-art microscope, for the new program, according to the report.
