Isaac Karikari, MD, of Duke Medicine in Raleigh, N.C., performed scoliosis surgery with new software, IGA.

 

William S. Bodemer, MD, will join Premier Bone & Joint Centers, based in Laramie, Wyo.

Alan T. Villavicencio, MD, of Boulder (Colo.) Neurosurgical and Spine Associates, performed the first ACDF procedure utilizing Xtant Medical’s Atrix-C Cervical Allograft Interbody Spacer.

 

Warren Yu, MD, implanted Irvine, Calif.-based Interventional Spine’s 3rd Generation Opticage Expandable Interbody Fusion device in the first patient in the United States. Dr. Yu is the director of spine surgery at George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C.
