Drs. Michael Gleiber, Troy Caron & more: 7 spine surgeons in the headlines this week

Here are seven spine surgeons and neurosurgeons in the news this past week.

Tampa-based Laser Spine Institute welcomed Troy Caron, DO, Raj Kakarlapudi, MD, and Jeff Martin, MD, to its team. Dr. Caron and Dr. Martin will treat patients in Laser Spine Institute’s seven facilities; Dr. Kakarlapudi will treat patients at the Cincinnati surgery center.

 

Michael Sprintz, DO, joined North American Spine in Dallas as a partner physician.

 

Sartell., Minn.-based St. Cloud Orthopedics welcomed Jason P. Kelly, MD, and Trevor Mclver, MD, MS, to its team.

 

American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons spokesman Michael Gleiber, MD, FAAOS, gave his support to the new partnership between the American Academy of Family Physicians and the National Football League. The two foundations came together to raise awareness about the risks of concussions.
