Here are five spine surgeons and neurosurgeons who recently received awards or promotions.

Michael Gleiber, MD, of West Palm Beach, Fla.-based Concierge Spine Surgery will serve as honorary chair for Johnson City, Tenn.-based The Spine Health Foundation’s 2017 Derby Day fundraiser in Bristol, Va.

 

Orthopedic spine surgeon Andrew W. Moulton, MD, is now Lakewood Ranch (Fla.) Medical Center’s chief of surgery.

 

Riverhead, N.Y.-based Peconic Bay Medical Center, a part of New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based Northwell Health, named Robert M. Galler, DO, the new director of neurosurgery.

 

Stillwater-based Oklahoma State University inducted neurosurgeon Barry Pollard, MD, of Enid, Okla.-based Neurological Surgery Associates, into its Hall of Fame.

 

John R. Barker, MD, of Rocky Mountain Spine Clinic in Lone Tree, Colo., will be included in The Leading Physicians of the World.
