Drs. John Brophy, LaVerne Lovell Join Semmes-Murphey Clinic

The Semmes-Murphey Clinic in Memphis, Tenn., has added two neurosurgeons — John D. Brophy, MD, and LaVerne R. Lovell, MD — to its medical staff, according to a Memphis Business Journal report.

The neurosurgeons are former principals of the Brophy & Lovell Neurosurgical Clinic in Memphis.

 

Dr. Brophy has served as chief of neurosurgery at the Naval Medical Center San Diego, and Dr. Lovell has served as chief of neurosurgery at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth (Va.), according to the report.
