Netflix debuted “Lenox Hill” June 10, a docuseries following the lives of four physicians at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, including neurosurgeon John Boockvar, MD.

North Platte, Neb.-based Great Plains Health will open its brain and spine center June 22, with W. Lee Warren, MD, leading the facility.

South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta onboarded adult and pediatric neurosurgeon Kimberly Mackey, MD.

Steven Zielinski, MD, founder of Waco-based Texas Spine and Neurosurgery, is performing lumbar fusions with metal-free technology.

Timothy Witham, MD, Daniel Sciubba, MD, and Camilo Molina, MD, reportedly performed the first spinal fusion on a living patient using augmented reality at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.
