Driving Force acquired Wenzel Spine’s Vertebral Motion Analysis technology, according to an Aug. 28 news release.

The VMA system was developed with input from spine surgeons and supported by peer-reviewed studies. It uses dynamic fluoroscopy and proprietary software for imaging and can detect spinal instability injuries when standard options don’t work.

Driving Force plans to build a network of imaging centers and strategic partnerships.

“The transition from Wenzel Spine to Driving Force is an exciting new chapter,” William Wilson, CEO of Wenzel Spine, said in the release. “We’re confident the technology will reach its full potential under Driving Force’s vision and leadership.”

At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
