Dr. Ziya Gokaslan Performs Spine Surgery on Orioles Pitcher Nolan Reimold

Ziya Gokaslan, MD, a neurosurgeon, performed surgery this morning at the Johns Hopkins Neurosurgical Spine Center on Boston Orioles pitcher Nolan Reimold, according to a Baltimore Sun report.

Mr. Reimold, has a bulging disc in his neck with persisting symptoms after epidural shots.

Dr. Gokaslan is a professor of neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery and oncology at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. He’s also the director of the Johns Hopkins Neurosurgical Spine Center.
