Here are five things to know:
1. Dr. Samocha joined the hospital as a member of the Westchester Medial Center Health Network and will dedicate his practice to spine care.
2. Before joining MidHudson Regional, Dr. Samocha spent six years in private practice in Houston.
3. MidHudson Regional offers continuum of care services for orthopedic injuries and disorders, including back and neck pain.
4. Dr. Samocha earned his medical degree at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas and completed his residency at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, N.Y. He also completed a fellowship at Texas Back Institute in Plano.
5. He is in the process of helping to develop a spine center that will serve Dutchess and surrounding counties.
