Dr. Khavkin previously served as the director of neurosurgical services at Northwestern University in Chicago where he both performed procedures and trained fellows.
He began medical school in Russia and completed his degree at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. He completed a fellowship in complex and minimally invasive spine surgery at Johns Hopkins University.
