Dr. Vivek Babaria co-authors article in Interventional Pain Medicine

Vivek Babaria, DO, has co-authored a journal article in Interventional Pain Medicine on treatment options for cervical spine joint pain.

The article, “Factfinders for patient safety: Anticoagulant and antiplatelet agents and cervical medial branch procedures,” examines the treatment risks of cervical medial branch blocks for cervical spine joint pain, according to information shared with Becker’s. 

Dr. Babaria is an osteopathic physician at the DISC Sports and Spine Center in Newport Beach, Calif. He specializes in interventional spine care as well as sports medicine. 

Haewon Lee, MD, Matthew Saffarian, DO, and Zachary McCormick, MD, were the other authors of the article.
