Dr. Troy Tippett Receives Harvey Cushing Medal From AANS

Troy M. Tippett, MD, was awarded the Harvey Cushing Medal by the American Association of Neurological Surgeons for his contributions to neurosurgery through leadership, service and dedication, according to a News-Medical report.

Dr. Tippett is the current president of the Neurosurgery Research and Education Foundation. He is a past president of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Florida Medical Association and the Neurosurgical Society of America. He has also previously served as chair of the AANS/CNS Washington Committee.
