Dr. Todd Lanman to speak on artificial disc replacement: 4 things to know

Todd Lanman, MD, of Beverly Hills, Calif.-based Lanman Spinal Neurosurgery, will lead an artificial disc replacement presentation at the Marina Del (Calif.) Rey Hospital April 17.

Here are four things to know.

1. The hour-long session will provide surgeons insight into new uses, indications and revision strategies for artificial disc replacement, particularly cervical disc replacement.

2. Dr. Lamnan routinely travels around the country to educate fellow spine surgeons on artificial disc replacement. He was recently in Atlanta conducting research on cadavers by installing a new lumbar spine implant for fusion.

3. The Los Angeles Times recently named Dr. Lamnan one of Los Angeles’ Top Doctors. United Airlines’ Hemispheres magazine listed him as on of the country’s top spine surgeons.
