Dr. Mattei has professional interests in complex spine and deformity surgery, oncological spine surgery and minimally invasive spine surgery as well as skull base neurosurgery and cerebrovascular neurosurgery.
Dr. Mattei has received specialized training in complex spine and deformity surgery at the University of Illinois at Peoria. He has also completed an additional fellowship in oncological spine surgery at the Ohio State University in Columbus. He is a member of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, American Association of Neurological Surgeons and North American Spine Society.
