Mr. Cronin thanked Thomas Tolli, MD, a spine surgeon in Saint Petersburg, Fla., in his post.

“I had been dealing with pain in my left shoulder/arm for the last [two] years but could never seem to find anything wrong with them,” Mr. Cronin wrote. “That was up until about a month ago when we decided to have my spine checked and found a large herniated disc at my C5-C6 level.”

The Washington Nationals haven’t announced a timeline for Mr. Cronin’s recovery, MLB Trade Rumors said Aug. 2.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
