Dr. Thomas McNally named medical director of Illinois spine center

Weiss Memorial Hospital has appointed Thomas McNally, MD, medical director of the Spine Center at the Chicago Center for Orthopedics and Robotic-Assisted Surgery.

Three things to know:

1. Dr. McNally specializes in minimally invasive and robotic surgery, including pediatric and adult spine surgery, disc herniations, spinal stenosis, scoliosis and spondylolisthesis.

2. He practiced with Bartlett, Ill.-based Suburban Orthopaedics for 13 years before joining Weiss Memorial.

3. Weiss Memorial is planning a significant renovation of its orthopedic center, the hospital said in an Aug. 27 news release.
