The hope is that the new International Spine Foundation will be able to make advanced spinal treatments and procedures more readily available for everyone. The mission of his original foundation is to provide patients with state of the art spine care.

Since the creation of his practice five years ago, Dr. Joseph has not only accomplished innovative spine treatment and pioneered surgeries, but has performed charitable and philanthropic work.

Through the foundation, Dr. Joseph and his co-founders Elizabeth Joseph and Uhuru Smith, MD, are aiming to broaden the impact of lifesaving spinal surgeries more locally, nationally and internationally.

The Make a Wish Foundation is also important to Dr. Joseph, as he is fully supportive of the goal of bettering the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery. Apply for complimentary registration now.
