What you should know:
1. Dr. Adams earned his medical degree from the Medical University of Ohio at Toledo, completed his residency at Worcester-based The University of Massachusetts Medical School and completed his fellowship at Morgantown-based West Virginia University.
2. He will see patients at Pioneer Peak’s clinic and perform surgeries at Mat-Su Regional Medical Center in Palmer, Alaska.
3. Dr. Adams started his career as an emergency room physician but transferred to spine care during his residency. He attributed that change to enjoying the challenge of working with small bones.
