1. Dr. Huang is a pediatric orthopedic surgeon.
2. Before coming to Sacred Heart, Dr. Huang treated patients at Nemours Children’s Specialty Care Pensacola in Florida.
3. State University of New York Center for Advanced Technologies granted Dr. Huang funds for osteoporosis research and Palms Clinic and Hospital Corporation awarded him grant money to study spinal fusion. The grants totaled $120,000-plus.
4. Previous chairman of Scoliosis Research Society’s patient education and growing spine committees, Dr. Huang is also a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America and Orthopaedic Research Society.
5. Dr. Huang completed his pediatric orthopedic surgery fellowship at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital in Cleveland.
