Dr. Rick Price completes his 50th AR spine case

Rick Price, MD, PhD, completed his 50th case using Augmedics’ Xvision augmented reality spine system, the medtech company said in a Feb. 27 LinkedIn post.

Dr. Price is a neurosurgeon at the Swift Institute in Reno, Nev. Augmedics’ Xvision headset assists surgeons with screw placement.

“Xvision enhances my surgical practice by allowing me to perform more precise and faster surgeries with confidence while reducing radiation exposure,” Dr. Price said in the post. “Ultimately, this has translated to safer surgeries with excellent outcomes.”
