Dr. Peter Nora joins EvergreenHealth Spine and Neurosurgical Care: 6 things to know

Kirkland, Wash.-based EvergreenHealth welcomed Peter Nora, MD, to the system, according to Kirkland Reporter.

Here are six things to know:

 

1. Dr. Nora will see patients at EvergreenHealth Spine and Neurological Care, also in Kirkland.

 

2. He specializes in deep brain stimulation surgery for movement disorders as well as spine disease treatment.

 

3. Dr. Nora has served as principal investigator for various clinical studies analyzing deep brain stimulation to treat neurological disorders.

 

4. Journal of Neurosurgery and the Journal of Reconstructive Microsurgery have published his work, among others.

 

5. Dr. Nora is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and previously served as president of the Washington State Association of Neurological Surgeons.

 

6. He completed his residency at George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
