Clinical Neurology and Neurosurgery is a peer-reviewed, Pubmed-referenced medical journal covering a variety of topics, including spine. The publication promises authors that experts will review their submissions in a timely fashion and provide constructive critique and rapid turnaround.
Submissions from both orthopedic spine and neurosurgeons are welcome.
Dr. Hitchon is a professor of neurosurgery at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City. He earned his medical degree at American University of Beirut and completed his residency at Wayne State University Affiliated Hospitals in Detroit and a second neurosurgery-focused residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
His additional training includes a fellowship in cardiovascular physiology at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
