1. Dr. Anand’s three-year term began on March 5 and will conclude at the close of the AAOS Annual Meeting in 2019.
2. He serves as a clinical professor of surgery and director of spine trauma at Los Angeles-based Cedars-Sinai Spine Center.
3. Equipped with more than 20 years in practice, Dr. Anand has trained more than 30 fellows in minimally invasive techniques.
4. He has been the principal investigator in various FDA-investigational device exemption studies, which have helped advance the minimally invasive spine surgery field.
5. He has served on committees and advisory boards for different organizations including, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, North American Spine Society, Scoliosis Research Society, Society for Minimally-Invasive Spinal Surgery, Society for Lateral Access Surgery and ONE Spine Society, among others.
