Dr. McKee will perform AccuraScope endoscopic spine procedures at the Victory Medical Center in San Antonio. The approach is designed to help a physician diagnose and treat multiple areas of the spine in one procedure with less invasion and trauma than other types of minimally invasive spine surgery, according to the report.
Dr. McKee is an interventional pain management specialist who focuses on laser spine surgical procedures. He is the former chief of pain management for multiple hospitals in New York. Dr. McKee had medical training in general surgery, anesthesia and pain management.
