Dr. McDermott is a neurosurgeon specializing in the treatment of several neurological disorders, including brain metastases, skull base tumors and spinal cord tumors.
AS CMO, he will be responsible for developing the neuroscience program at MNI and making the center a destination for care.
Dr. McDermott joins from the University of California San Francisco Medical Center, where he served as professor and vice chairman of neurological surgery as well as co-director of the Gamma Knife and CyberKnife radiosurgery program.
