Dr. Merle Stringer reappointed to Florida Board of Medicine: 4 highlights

Florida neurosurgeon Merle Stringer, MD, was reappointed to the Florida Board of Medicine, according to the Panama City News Herald.

1. Dr. Stringer’s term ends Oct. 31, 2021.

 

2. Governor Rick Scott, R, appointed Dr. Stringer along with 15 other members to serve on the board.

 

3. Dr. Stringer will be responsible for overseeing safety and licensing requirements in Florida’s medical industry.

 

4. Dr. Stringer practices at the Brain and Spine Center in Panama City, Fla. He earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta.
