Dr. Neal survived after being without oxygen for 24 minutes and suffered no brain damage. During that time, she claims to have been to Heaven and was forewarned about a tragic event in the future — the death of her oldest son.
When writing her memoir of the event, she kept this information a secret. But the day she finished her manuscript, her son died in a car accident.
Dr. Neal recently appeared on the series “In Deep Shift with Jonas Elrod” on OWN discussing her story.
