Dr. Mark McLaughlin Holds Neurosurgery Boot Camp for Army Football Coaches

Mark R. McLaughlin, MD, held a neurosurgery boot camp for West Point (N.Y.) Army head football coach, Rich Ellerson, and his entire coaching staff at CentraState Medical Center in Freehold, N.J., according to a News Transcript report.

Dr. McLaughlin is a neurosurgeon on staff at CentraState and is the medical director of Princeton (N.J.) Brain & Spine Care. At the workshop, he guided the coaches as they performed mock surgery on spine and brain models to learn about concentration, precision and execution under stress, according to the report.
