Dr. Judson Cook First in Wyoming to Use PCM Cervical Disc for Disc Replacement Surgery

Judson Cook, MD, a neurosurgeon, is the first surgeon in Wyoming to perform cervical disc replacement surgery the PCM Cervical Disc device, according to a CBS 5 News report.

Dr. Cook is a provider at Summit Spine & Neurosurgery Associates in Cheyenne, Wyo., and focuses on microlumbar discectomies, spinal fusions, cervical disc replacements and interspinous decompression technologies. He is also a clinical faculty member of the department of neurosurgery at the University of Colorado in Aurora.

 

The PCM Cervical Disc is an FDA-approved, motion-preserving device by NuVasive. The surgery was performed at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center in early 2014
