The North American Neuromodulation Society promotes multidisciplinary collaboration to advance neuromodulation for patient care. According to Dr. Prunskis, there have been substantial advances in neurostimulation for the treatment of back, neck, abdomen, pelvis, chest wall, arm and leg pain as well as neuropathy and Complex Regional Pain Syndrome.
Dr. Prunskis is the founder and co-medical director of the Chicago-based Illinois Pain Institute. He is an interventional pain specialist and a confirmed member of the pain task force.
