Dr. Maroon is a clinical professor of neurological surgery at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, and he focuses on development of minimally invasive surgical procedures to the brain and spine and the prevention and treatment of traumatic injuries to the central nervous system. He has also been the team neurosurgeon for the Pittsburgh Steelers for 20 years.
