Dr. James Lynch debuts lumbar plate in Nevada — 3 things to know

Orthopedic implant manufacturer 4Web Medical launched its Lumbar Spine Plating Solution, with James Lynch, MD, CEO of Reno-based Spine Nevada, performing the first procedures with the device.

Three things to know:

1. The lumbar plate expands 4Web’s lateral portfolio, the company’s fastest growing product line, according to a May 5 news release.

2. The system features 4Web’s Truss Implant Technology, which is designed to promote bone growth, control distribution and maximize resistance to subsidence, according to the company.

3. The Truss 3D-printed implant technology launched in 2012 and now includes products for spine, foot and ankle and patient-specific orthopedic surgeries.
