Dr. Fred Ma appointed CMO, SVP of Cognivue

Medical device company Cognivue has named former neurosurgeon Fred Ma, MD, PhD, CMO and senior vice president, according to a July 22 news release.

Four things to know:

1. Cognivue develops technologies that identify changes in cognitive function.

2. Dr. Ma is board-certified in neurosurgery, functional neurosurgery and oncology in Japan and China.

3. Previously, he held executive leadership roles at Johnson & Johnson and GE Healthcare, among other medical device companies.

4. Most recently, he operated as COO of Innovative Health Sciences, a device company focusing on home infusion therapies.
