3. Dr. Cammisa is the chief emeritus of the spine service at HSS. He specializes in minimally invasive spinal surgery, computer-assisted spinal surgery, microsurgery, athletic spinal injuries and motion-preserving procedures, including artificial disc replacement. He serves as the spine consultant for the NHL Players Association.
