Dr. Marchand was a board-certified neurosurgeon at Denver Health. He received his medical degree from Albuquerque-based University of New Mexico School of Medicine and completed his neurosurgery residency at Montreal, Canada-based McGill University.
In his spare time, Dr. Marchand enjoyed skiing, hiking, fly-fishing and mountain biking.
