A board-certified surgeon at The NeuroMedical Center in Baton Rouge, La., Dr. Oberlander specializes in minimally invasive and complex spine surgery.
After earning his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in Richmond, Dr. Oberlander completed his residency at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. Dr. Oberlander also completed complex and minimally invasive spine surgery fellowship training at the Medical College of Virginia.
Dr. Oberlander spent time as a Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Navy Reserve between 2003 and 2012. He went on to join The NeuroMedical Center in 2008.
