Dr. Elizabeth Fontana to lead neurosurgery division at Nassau University Medical Center

East Meadow, N.Y.-based NuHealth named Elizabeth Fontana, MD, to lead the neurosurgery division at Nassau University Medical Center.

Dr. Fontana has completed a brain/spine tumor fellowship at the Swedish Neuroscience Institute in Seattle. She has a professional interest in specializes in tumors of the brain and spine, including meningiomas, schwannomas and metastatic lesions, degenerative spine disease, intervertebral disc disease and neuro-trauma.
