Dr. Elad Levy named president of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons

The Congress of Neurological Surgeons named Elad Levy, MD, president-elect.

Dr. Levy, of University at Buffalo (N.Y.) Physicians’ Group, will begin his term Oct. 12, 2022, at the CNS annual meeting, according to a Dec. 6 news release. He is a professor and chair of neurosurgery at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo.

Dr. Levy previously was the secretary to CNS’ executive committee. He is a neurosurgeon with UBMD, co-director of cerebrovascular surgery at Kaleida Health and director of endovascular stroke treatment and research medical director of neuroendovascular services at Buffalo-based Gates Vascular Institute.
