Dr. Ed Mark donates $1M to Wiregrass Georgia Tech

 
Neurosurgeon Ed Mark, MD, and his wife are donating $1 million to The Health Sciences Program at Wiregrass Georgia Tech to grow the program, according to a WALB News report.

This is the largest single-person donation in the college’s history and the money is tabbed for use in “whatever way will benefit current and future students in the program most,” according to the report. Dr. Mark and his wife previously donated to the SGMC Foundation, which created the Ed & Rhonda Mark Specialty Care Unit.
