Dr. Douglas Crowther brings spine practice home to Colorado

Douglas Crowther, DO, returned to his home state of Colorado to join San Luis Valley Regional Medical Center in Alamosa, Conejos County Citizen reports.

1. Dr. Crowther specializes in minimally invasive techniques, robotic spine surgery and open procedures.

2. He completed his fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he received extensive experience in spinal trauma, degenerative conditions, complex deformity correction and spinal tumors.

3. Dr. Crowther’s professional memberships include the American Academy of Orthopaedic  Surgeons, American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, North American Spine Society and AO Spine.
