Dr. Callewart has been in practice for over 25 years, performing orthopedic surgeries on patients in the Dallas area. With specialties in treating neck and back conditions in addition to spine problems and chronic spinal pain, Dr. Callewart also treats shoulder pain and hip pain associated with pain from the neck and back.

When he’s not treating patients or performing surgeries, Dr. Callewart tends over 150,000 bees living and working on his family’s cattle ranch in Kaufman, Texas. The bees travel 55,000 miles, visit over 2 million flowers to make each pound of honey that comes from Dr. Callewart’s farm. He reports each hive typically produces 30 pounds of honey at the farm, which is also home to llamas.

Dr. Callewart says, “The organization and efficiency of a bee colony is fascinating. We, as a society, could learn a lot from their lifestyle.”
