Dr. Claudio Tatsui performs 1st global case with icotec spine system

Claudio Tatsui, MD, a neurosurgeon in Houston, completed the first global case with icotec’s CMORE CT spine system, the company said in a Jan. 14 LinkedIn post.

The milestone case was completed on Dec. 16. The CMORE system earned FDA clearance in November and is a set of instruments and implants for posterior stabilization of the upper spine.

Dr. Tatsui is an assistant professor of neurosurgery at Baylor College of Medicine.
