Dr. Burkett is an orthopedic spine surgeon with a professional interest in adult and pediatric spinal deformity and scoliosis. He utilizes minimally invasive surgical techniques and performs cervical disc replacements.
Dr. Burkett earned his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine and Public Health in Columbus and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Louisville (Ky.) School of Medicine. He also completed a fellowship in spine and spinal deformity at New York University Medical Center in New York City.
