Dr. Burch performed the debut case in December at Oxford (Miss.) Surgery Center. Since then, more than 20 endoscopic spine surgeries have been done at the ASC.
Endoscopic spine surgery uses smaller incisions and can decrease postoperative pain, according to the report.
