Ben Burch, MD, joined Atlanta Spine Institute’s Sandy Springs, Ga., location, according to a June 3 news release shared with Becker’s.
Dr. Burch has expertise in endoscopic spine surgery, and in 2025 he performed the state’s first endoscopic spinal fusion.
“Joining Atlanta Spine Institute allows me to bring the most advanced endoscopic solutions to even more patients,” Dr. Burch said in the release. “Plas James, MD, and I together are growing an already well-established, comprehensive spine surgery practice focused on the least invasive, most effective options available.”
Dr. Burch earned his medical degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Marnix E. Heersink School of Medicine, and he completed his residency at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
