Babajide Ogunseinde, MD, a spine surgeon in Longview, Texas, launched the PML Mastery App, a digital platform to train physicians in the posterior medial-to-lateral sacroiliac fusion technique.
Dr. Ogunseinde created the technique, which has an emphasis on improved implant trajectory, anatomical alignment and procedural efficiency, according to a March 16 news release. His app is available for free on the Apple and Android app stores.
The app includes educational modules, surgical animation demonstrations, narrated instructions and structured learning resources.
The PML SI fusion technique has been published in peer-reviewed literature and was reported in the Journal of Surgical Case Studies in January.
