Dr. Atif Malik to present research paper at the ISMISS course in China: 3 points

Atif Malik, MD, will present a research paper at the International 34th ISMISS Course for Percutaneous Endoscopic Spinal Surgery and Complementary Minimal Invasive Techniques in Chongquing, China, from Jan. 21 to Jan. 23.

1. The International Society for Minimal Intervention in Spinal Surgery focuses on the fields of minimally invasive and endoscopic spine surgeries.

 

2. Dr. Malik’s paper is titled “Lumbar Intradiscal Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Injections: A Retrospective Study.” The study includes data from 18 patients who have completed 1 year of follow-up.

 

3. Dr. Malik is a founding member of Columbia, Md.-based American Spine. He is a member of the The International Society of Minimally Invasive Spinal Surgery, American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians and North American Spine Society.
